Texas State Championships – Quick Results

We took a small team of competitors this weekend to the Texas State Grappling Championships in Cedar Park, TX.  The tournament was organized by FightToWin MMA promotions and hosted over 860 competitors across a number of divisions.

Gracie Humaitá represented well.  The team came home with 7 medals.  We’re all very proud of the team’s performance and even more encouraged by the lessons we learned in competition.  Quick results are below.  Some photos can be found HERE, but more photos, video and a tournament write-up will come in the next few days.  Stay tuned.

Finally, huge thanks to Shama Ko (www.skophoto.com) for taking photos of many of the matches.  Great having a talented photographer on the team.
